Controversial Ghanaian musician Kooko says his new 3 year management deal with Nana Moosie Bansere marks a turning point in his life and musical career.

Kwame Nana Gyabaa as he is known outside showbiz recounts how he has suffered to get an able and reliable producer.

“Many people came probably with good intentions but could not really walk the talk”, he regretted.

A 1,500,000 Cedis management deal covering a three year period was signed at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani in the glare of several media personnel.

Kooko tells ghanagong.com‘s Bernard Buachi he is extremely grateful to his new benefactor who also happens to be a fetish priest.

Kooko also recounts the bizarre circumstances surrounding his meeting his new producer.

“I didn’t know him but he saw me performing and asked me to see him after my performance. I did and he began to tell me how some musicians had tied me spiritually. He even told me about specific dreams I had been having and warned me about certain things. He later saw that he is the one who they came to to tie me down. He called one of them to come and apologize to me or he returns the venom to them”. Kooko says the man untied him and decided to help him physically as well.

“Since then, Nana has remained a man of his word”, he said.
