About 5000 inhabitants of Atwima Boko in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency will soon be able to access health care delivery at their back yard.

Residents and inhabitants within this community have to trek some kilometers to access health facility on daily basis in surrounding communities.

As a result of this, the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency in the Ashanti region, Dr. Kojo Appiah -Kubi has cut -sod for the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS), maternity block and official residence for the senior Midwife.

The project, he said, is expected to be completed in the next three months to serve the 5000 inhabitants.

The MP, in an interview with Oyerepa news, said, the facility will give relief to people who trek hours to access health care in the district.

According to him, the project is being funded from the MPs share of the common fund, Special Initiative and other sources of funds.
