Spiritual Directives-Presiding Pastor of the Okyerekrom branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC); Rev. Emmanuel Adjei says people should not criticize spiritual Directives issued by Pastors to their church members or persons who seek help from them.
The Pastor who is known to give a lot of such directives known as “akwankyer3” in twi admitted that some men of God go beyond certain limits and employ other dark spirits.
He says however that the fact that some false prophets employ foul spirits should not give anyone the audacity to dismiss the concept of spiritual directives altogether.
He said Jesus Christ himself gave several such directives when he could in fact have just prayed off the problem and cited Christ’s use of sputum to restore the sight of a blind man in the Bible.
“God has given me several Spiritual Directives for my own life and also for people who seek spiritual help or come to me for spiritual counseling and I’m proud to say that these directives have worked everytime” he said.
Rev. Adjei however cautioned Christians to be conscious of false prophets. He advised Christians not to be tricked into performing occultic rituals like slaughtering animals, visiting rivers at midnight or shedding human blood. “You should know that people who ask you to do outrageous things like these are agents of other spirits and are demonic”, he warned.
