Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan visits Ishau Yaro at the hospital

Family of Ishau Yaro who was injured in the leg during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election have denied that he belongs to vigilante group; Azorka Boys.

Ishau Yaro was one of the six people who were brutally assaulted by National Security Operatives during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.

Ibrahim Musah who speaks for the family of Ishaw Yaro says Ishau is a very active member of the NDC and performs several functions but is not with the Azorka boys.

The family also said they did not know of any money given to them by the newly elected MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon; Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

The MP said she had left an amount of five thousand Cedis to take care of Ishau’s hospital bills and also left her contact with a family member in case there are more expenses incurred.

The family however says this is not true since the MP did not talk to any of them when she visited. “The family doesn’t know about the money she left. We also want to know which family member she left her contact with. Did she speak to any family member when she visited?” they queried.

They say the NDC is paying the bills and expressed disgust that the MP had to make news out of her supposed donation.

“The party is paying his bills, former President Mahama, and others have visited and left money but they did not make news out of it. It is not fine. None of the other people made news out of what they have given” Mr. Musah opined.

Information available to www.ghanagong.com reveals that Ishau could be amputated as Doctors have suggested that amputation is the one viable option to save his life.
