The Member of Parliament for Asante Juaben constituency Mrs. Ama Pomaa Boateng has applauded the government for creating Juaben municipality which was initially part of the Ejisu Juaben Municipality.
Asante Juaben, which is one of the traditional communities in the region is endowed with numerous resource that will give comfort to the municipality, she said.
Speaking exclusively to Oyerepa News after the inaugural ceremony of the municipality, the legislator said, the assembly will perk up the life style of the people.
However, she tasked the new assembly to create an enabling environment for the total transformation of its citizenry.
As a newly created municipality, challenges are bound to occur; therefore it is incumbent upon the assembly to devise strategies to absorb them in the short run, she stressed.
Mrs. Ama Pomaa, praised the chiefs, elders and the people for making the dream a reality.
She rallied support for the newly created municipality, saying, all hands must be on deck to make Juaben Municipality exceptional in the country.
