…Encourages Africans abroad to help enterprising relatives back home

Mr. Musah Trawill; a Ghanaian businessman in the United States has encouraged Africans in the diaspora to make it a point to help at least one member of their family back in their homeland.

Mr. Trawill, also known as Mr. Candy Ghana is the CEO of Sweet Mother Candy & Beyond Company.

He was speaking at the US-Africa Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (#USAYES2018) held at the University of Chicago. The summit took place on the 12th and 13th Of July, 2018.

Theme: “Empowering Youth, Promoting Investment in Technology, Agribusiness, and Tourism”.

He says assisting a relative to develop an idea whether via research, investment or connecting them to the right sources will help reduce unemployment and create a secure future for the next generation.

Mr. Candy Ghana also shared intriguing aspects about his professional career including how he has remained consistent in the confectionery business for almost ten years.

 About The Summit

The US-Africa Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (#USAYES2018) is a 21st Century high-level powered entrepreneurship and innovation conference and exhibition. The goal of this annual prestigious business-networking platform is to promote and facilitate connections between US and African Youth through trade and investment in the areas of technology, agri-business and tourism.

The summit projects an attendance of over 1,000 participants from US States and 40 African Nations including government delegations, young US and African leaders and entrepreneurs, US Investors, business leaders, technology companies, Agricultural companies, energy Companies, tourism companies, the international media as well as trade and investment promotion agencies from more than 50 Countries.

He is C.E.O of Sweet Mother Candy & Beyond Company Limited (An Upscale Confectionery Business). He currently manages a 23 Year-old American Distribution Company in Chicago. He is a Member of NCA of Washington D.C. – U.S.A , a Public Relation Officer Of Ghanaian Professionals of North America in Chicago and A Public Relation Officer and Member of Haske Muslim Community in Chicago U.S.A. He is also the Patron of Go Kurative Africa (GOKA) an N.G.O organization located in Ghana.
