Ahmed Hussein-Suale murder: U.S. Embassy calls for thorough investigation

The US Embassy in Ghana has condemned the murder of investigative journalist and staff of Tiger PI; Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

The Embassy is also calling for thorough investigation into the murder.

This was not only an attack on Suale, but on Ghana’s climate of transparency, democratic credibility, and Press freedom” a twitter message from the embassy said.
    31 year-old Ahmed Hussein-Suale, a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigations (PI) Team was murdered in cold blood by unidentified assailants late Wednesday at Madina; a suburb of Accra.

The Police say he received three gunshots; two in the chest and another in the neck.

Tiger Eye PI says though they are devastated, they are not shaken in their resolve to pursue nation-wreckers and make corruption a high-risk activity in the country.
