Ghana News–Folks, could it be that Tic Tac and Shatta Wale have called a truce? In the snapshot above, Tic Tac is seen retweeting a tweet concerning Shatta Wale’s Taking over.
One of Ashanti’s finest DJs; DJ Kastiva, tweeted he was now playing Shatta’s Taking Over. Tic Tac then retweeted it.
Tic Tac, a successful Hiplife artiste walked off a live TV interview on GHOne when Shatta Wale’s video was being shown during his interview; a thing that was hitherto unheard of in Ghana showbiz.
“Are we showing Shatta’s video because I’m talking about him? I have new videos that should be showing… we cannot show Shatta’s video while I’m here talking about him. I didn’t come here to promote Shatta Wale”, Tic Tac fumed.
The ‘Kangaroo’ hitmaker who sounded disappointed walked off the set. An attempt by the hostess, Bisiwa Dowuona-Hammond to calm him and get him seated proved unsuccessful.
Tic Tac and Shatta Wale have not been in good terms after the “Ayoo’ hitmaker took a swipe at Tic Tac and VVIP accusing them of selling Ghana’s birthright in terms of music to Nigerians.
DJ Kastiva questioned Tic Tac for his motive behind retweeting “Taking over” by Shatta Wale. “Wow!! Can I consider the retweet of Taking over as a truce?? can’t wait for the colabo, haha”, Kastiva asked. His question however is yet to receive an answer.
