Ghana News–Ghanaian hiplife musician Nana Kweku Duah says he has no plans of recording any song with Shatta Wale.

Tic, as he is known in showbiz circles was answering a question posed by Luv Fm’s DJ Reuben on whether or not he had any plans of recording with Shatta Wale. “Naa, I don’t have plans of recording with him but you can never predict the future”.

Tic, formerly known as Tic Tac is rebranding himself and his music. He recently released a new song “pene mame” which he is currently promoting. He reveals that the song is doing so well he hopes he could add more for the year.

He also advised Ghanaians and Ghanaian musicians to value the twi language and utilize it in their works. He believes using the local languages and culture will enable artists have control of their work and decide where they want to take it.

“Our twi has now been taken over by Nigeria and they are using it. I have witnessed Davido’s new song with a Congolese artiste and the chorus is twi. They always appreciate our twi. BBC would come to Ghana and wait for 5 days to do an interview with me because of our twi”, he explained.

A lot of callers showered praises on him for his contribution to the music industry.
