Dry lips

It’s the holiday season again, which means harmattan is slowly setting in and very soon we will see it effect on our skin and our lips.

The lips tend to get hyper sensitive and prone to dryness, lip crack, chapped and flaky, which may cause pain and discomfort. Don’t stress! I have got your back during this season.

Read on to find out how to protect your lips during this dry season.

1. Don’t Lick Your Lips.
Licking your lips Strips all the natural moisture from your lips and any moisturizer applied on your lips.
To help prevent you from licking on your lips, you can chew gum or candy or toffee.

Reduce the intake of spicy foods and citrus fruits during this season.

4. Exfoliate Your Lips.
Don’t exfoliate only your skin but your lips too. This helps removes dead cells accumulated over lips and brings out soft skin. You can exfoliate your lips once or twice a week, ohhh!! Try the honey-sugar lip scrub and thank me later.
