Ghana Business News-An entrepreneur; Nelson Semanu Boandoh-Korkor says the reason Ghana’s unemployment figures remain high is that the youth lack adequate desire to succeed in life.

He spoke to Bernard Buachi of ghanagong.com on the sidelines of the July Edition of Mountain Builders Network Business Conference held Saturday 28 July, 2018 at the True Vine Hotel, Kumasi.

“The issue of unemployment will continue to be with us. Young people who are unemployed should deliberately do something about it. they should have a desire that is strong”, he explained and adds that “Many young people do not have a strong enough desire to succeed and that is why we still have huge unemployment figures”.

The theme for Saturday’s conference was; “Grace for entrepreneurial exploits”.

Nelson Semanu Boandoh-Korkor, who is also a Pastor explained that the grace of God is not only limited to living a righteous life, overcoming sin and dealing with the devil.

“God gives special grace for the Christian to succeed in Business. In Exodus 31: 1-6, God specially anointed craftsmen who excel in their trade and their work. We are doing this to encourage believers that the market place or economy should not be left for ungodly people”.

He says the Mountain Builders Network hold these conferences on a monthly basis because of a gap left by most churches and organizations who hold such seminars once a year or quarterly.
