MTN Ghana Foundation Tuesday again expressed her commitment to fostering education, especially science education in Ghana.

The foundation donated boxes of science kits to two schools in the Ashanti region; the Ayeduase R/C Primary School and the Akyeakrom M/A JHS at Akyeakrom near Ejisu.

The two schools are part of fourteen carefully selected schools countrywide to benefit from the science kit donations.

Heads of the two schools in interactions with www.ghanagong.com expressed excitement  and gratitude to MTN and Dext technologies for the donation. They believe it will help improve the pupils’ understanding of some key science concepts.

Head teacher of Akyeakrom M/A JHS Mr. Opoku Ofosuhene used the opportunity presented by the presence of MTN officials to request for help in setting up extra classroom blocks as the student was already more than the capacity of the existing classroom spaces available.

Senior Manager at MTN Northern Business District, Simon Amoh revealed that the impact of these donations on the pupils will be assessed as a bases for future interventions.

In all 280 pieces of Science kits where donated to the two schools.
