General Overseer of the House of Faith Ministries; Rev. Alfred Nyamekye says the time has come for Christians to be more passionate about the work of Christ.
He says many have abandoned the commission Christ gave for his followers to take the good news of salvation to the ends of the earth. “Churches have however become monuments and more interested in architecture and other things beside the core mandate given by Christ”.
Rev. Nyamekye was speaking with ghanagong.com on the sidelines of the launch of his new book; The Supreme Jesus; Making him known to the nations.
“Millions of people place Jesus on the same level as prophets. As we open the Bible, we are faced with the fact that Jesus is God’s beloved son. God created the world in partnership with Christ. Jesus is a God in his own right, he is a savior in his own right, a redeemer in his own right. we will be exposed to areas of Christ’s life that many in our day to day life have abandoned”.
He explains that the book is borne out of 46 years experience in ministry and prayed that it will find its way into the hands of the average believer, churches, Bible schools and every nook and cranny.
He took advantage of the opportunity created by the launch to sign books for people.
The first time I heard the name of Rev. Alfred Nyamekye was the CSUC 2018 Missions Week. I am grateful to the Lord for letting me know such a passionate preacher. He really stormed both campus and crusade outside campus. I pray that, he endures his faith to the end. The youth really needs his type to know the difference between Godly and ungodly things.
I watched his video “Experiencing The Presence of God” and It has really helped me.
God bless you Papa!
